Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

Revised 3/19/26. Effective as of 6/15/2025.

All Sessions require a $200 reservation deposit. We block out our studio for 2 hours and have professional Portrait Photographers and Art directors for every appointment. For this reason, we collect a $200 session reservation deposit for all portrait sessions. This policy is to ensure that we are booking serious clients who are committed to coming in for the experience. The fee is fully refundable on the day of your session (when you finalize your selections) if you show up for your appointment.

Your reservation deposit will be fully refundable unless:

  • You reschedule your session more than once (deposit becomes a studio credit that can be applied to your order)
  • Choose to apply your reservation deposit to your portrait order.
  • Choose to pay for shipping** with a portion of your deposit
  • Reschedule your appointment less than 7 days in advance – your deposit becomes a studio credit (see below for details).
  • Do not show up for your scheduled session. – No Shows lose their deposit. Please call us and communicate with us so that this does not happen to your deposit. All reschedules and cancellations need to be made by phone. 732-945-4101 (Option 1 M–F) (Option 3 on Saturdays)

** promotional sessions include a complimentary 14” portrait. Shipping is not included. Shipping for your complimentary size 14” portrait is $22. Most clients choose to apply a portion of their reservation deposit to cover their shipping cost and are refunded the difference.

7 day Cancellation Policy: (policy change effective 6/15/25)

  • All reschedules and cancellations need to be made by phone and WILL NOT be accepted via text or email.

    • *Note: if you reach our voicemail please leave us a message and we will get back to you. Leaving a message will time stamp your reschedule request.
  • Any cancellation or rescheduling request must be made more than 7 days from the date of your session. Cancellations must be made by phone and will not be accepted via text or email.
  • Any cancellations less than 7 days before your scheduled session will result in a loss of your reservation deposit.
  • Any reschedules less than 7 days before your scheduled session will result in a studio credit that you can apply to your order regardless of sickness, injury or other life events.
  • No-Shows will result in the loss of your reservation deposit

Kramer Portraits Promotional Sessions are valid
for 60 days from the date you receive them.
